Between 6:45 and 7:15 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Plata and head by bus to the northeastern area of the island. After two hours of travel, we will reach our first destination: the Blue Lake. Are you ready to explore this authentic gem of Dominican nature? In the Blue Lagoon you will contemplate the play of light from the sun’s rays on the crystal clear water of this lagoon. A postcard image! In addition, we will enjoy a refreshing swim in this unique setting, surrounded by nature, before continuing the excursion.
The next destination on the route will be Playa Caleton and Playa Grande, one of the most beautiful beaches in the north of the Dominican Republic. Its white sand, its palm trees and the blue color of its waters make this beach meet all the requirements of the adjective “paradisiacal”. You will love it!. After a well-deserved swim in the sea, we will enjoy a meal in the vicinity of Playa Grande while we reveal some curiosities of the area. The incredible views of the sea, added to the flavors of the traditional dish we eat, will make you take with you an indelible memory of Playa Grande.

15 Minutes Before the Start Time
This is an 8 hour journey , since we pick you up at your Hotel’s Lobby or your Loction we head to Rio san Juan destination with the idea to visit Blue Lagoon, but first we stop to see some fruit plantions, later we go to Caleton Beach in that beautiful place you can stay aproximatly 30 to 45 minutes, can walk on the Beach and have a very refreshing swim.
After we move to Playa Grande which is the largest Beach of the northern area. there you will spend over one hour time , can walk on the beach, sunbade and also have a nice swim until our typical dominican lunch is ready to eat. After having eaten our tasty lunch we head to Blue Lagoon to explore the hidden caves and swim in the cold water, you can also jump in the lake, slide from a small zipline.
Our pickup is at 6:45am from Playa Bachata in Puerto Plata to drive straight to Rio San Juan on air conditioned bus, our tour guide will be in charge to go informing you about the country in the way to our destination and when arriving there , you’re gonna have every little details of those places you’re gonna see.
After practicly 8 hours exploring all those atractive places, we start returning back to your Hotels or your destinations. on this great experience we will bring you back to your destination place on our transportation, we hope that you have a great time on this great activity.
